Environmental orientation
Our products and services are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the environmental management system in accordance with EN ISO 14001:2015 and the following guiding principles:
Where possible, all employees should be involved in environmental activities. Employees' awareness of environmental impacts should be raised through training and education so so that everyone acts in an environmentally responsible manner and is able to contribute to the common environmental goals.
Where applicable, environmental assessments, like any other business activity, should be part of the decision-making process at all levels. This includes, first and foremost, examining the environmental impact when selecting raw materials or making changes to production.
A safe and healthy working environment must be guaranteed for employees. Employees should come to work every day without having to worry about injuries from accidents or illness as a result of overload, noise or chemical exposure. Hazardous work processes must be eliminated and harmful materials replaced with less harmful ones wherever technically and economically feasible. Employees should not have to risk their health for the sake of business. Emissions and other environmental impacts from production facilities must be controlled, and emission limits and applicable regulatory requirements must be complied with.
Additional measures that further reduce environmental impacts should be implemented, provided that the ratio of improvements in environmental impacts to the costs required to achieve them is reasonable.
We calculate our CO2 emissions at the company level (Scope 1, 2, 3) and monitor them continuously in order to identify changes at an early stage. The methods are based on recognized standards. Progress is regularly measured, reported, and used as a basis for targeted improvement measures.
Action plans are designed to ensure this continuous improvement. Improvements with the greatest benefits for the environment must be given the highest priority. Progress should be monitored at least once a year and new projects included in the planning. The following measures have already been successfully implemented:

The management of PENGG KABEL GmbH is responsible for the consistent implementation and further development of sustainable corporate management. Implementation and reporting are carried out by the respective management in accordance with the currently valid organizational chart of PENGG KABEL GmbH.

We require fair operating and business practices in our cooperation with other organizations (government agencies, partners, suppliers, contractors, customers, market competitors, and associations) in order to promote positive results. PENGG KABEL GmbH distances itself from any form of bribery and corruption, whether towards customers, suppliers, authorities, governments, or other persons involved, and supports the fight against corruption.
For us, good corporate governance is more than just compliance: it forms the foundation for trust, responsibility, and sustainable success. Through clear structures, ethical principles, and transparent decision-making processes, we secure long-term value for stakeholders, employees, and society.
We comply with all legal requirements and regulations. We are aware of our obligation to keep ourselves informed about the latest laws and to implement them punctually and in full. We continuously develop our internal regulations and adapt them to legal and technical changes. External regulations and requirements are systematically recorded and their compliance monitored.
EcoVadis
To assess our sustainability efforts, we use the services of EcoVadis, an independent platform for evaluating the sustainability performance of companies. EcoVadis analyzes companies in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement based on submitted documents and external sources. After the analysis, EcoVadis awards scores and medals, which are primarily used in supply chains to assess risks and make sustainability comparable. In April 2026, we were awarded the bronze medal in our latest assessment:
